- Fab Four 2.0
-
- Every good program deserves a README file and this is ours.
- You have obtained an evaluation copy of SportsWare South's Fab
- Four 2.2, a Beatles trivia game. Fab Four costs $17.95 U.S.
-
- You can register this program with your credit card via the
- Public (software) Library at 800-242-4775, or via mail. Complete
- order information is on the registration form REGISTER.DOC which
- you can print from the program's opening screen.
-
- You can also register on line with CompuServe's Shareware
- Registration. Just GO SWREG and follow the prompts to register
- program #5678.
-
- Why should you register this program for $17.95 (plus the
- usual $3.00 shipping and handling when ordered by credit card)?
- These good reasons come to mind.
-
- 1. You get hundreds more questions in the registered
- version. The shareware version has 75.
- 2. You get a bonus program called One Hit Wonders,
- covering the most interesting disappearing acts in
- pop music history. Plus another game called Invaders,
- about the other acts in the mid-sixties British
- Invasion of the U.S. music scene.
- 3. You get a Beatles discography to check and see if you
- have all the officially released Beatles tunes out
- there.
- 4. Starting with version 2.2, you can adjust the number of
- question in each game from the default of 10.
- 5. In the registered version, you can bypass the spinner
- and just play each question for 100 points.
- 6. You can clear the high scores summary at any time to
- start over.
- 7. You'll help keep Mom's dialysis machine plugged in.
- 8. It's the right thing to do.
-
- To install the program, just unzip (un-ARJ) or self-extract
- the program files to the directory of your choice and type
- FABFOUR and press enter. You can browse the manual by typing
- FAB4DOC(enter) and then print the manual from there if you
- wish. Context-sensitive help is available with the F1 key. Hit
- it twice and the manual is on-line.
-
- Don't forget you can print the Registration form by hitting
- F10 at the opening screen. Order by mail and save the $3.00
- shipping and handling charge.
-
- Why is a program about the Beatles published by a company
- called SportsWare South? Because we also publish a variety of
- trivia games for sports teams as well. We like sports. We like
- music. We didn't want two company names.
